Thanks everyone for a profitable Vogue Show! Student designers and stylists present collections formed by Seattle history, developed in dialog with native trend companies, and responding to the problem of designing for a broadly inclusive audience. The Experimental Vogue Present is designed, co-directed and co-produced by the artists from MICA’s Fiber Department’s You Are Right here: A Multimedia Occasion class.

The present highlights the outstanding abilities of the Trend School’s design and merchandising students. For the Annual Trend Show, vogue students submit work — starting from athletic wear to evening gowns — to a panel of business professionals, who resolve which collections and appears might be offered on the runway.

The season’s hottest fashions will likely be provided by 28 superior local and regional stores and boutiques. For over 35 years, the style present is an M-A tradition and the PTA’s largest fundraiser, offering funding for many of the necessary pupil and school companies we’ve come to anticipate at Menlo-Atherton.
